| Instructor: Mary MacGillis |
| The Fabric Corner is proud to announce the establishment of The Institute of Sewing Arts. The Institute is responsible for teaching the life skill of sewing at all levels and areas including pattern drafting, fabric manipulation, textiles, sewing and tailoring. The Institute is open to teens and adults. Classes are offered as extended courses at an affordable rate. Each course will list the requirements. If you are interested in extending your sewing skills without the pressure and expense of advanced educational services, this program is for you. Learning to sew for yourself, your family and for others can help save money. If you have been disappointed in today's fashions, designing and sewing your own clothing can give you great satisfaction. As part of the Institute of Sewing Arts, we are committed to passing on the knowledge and art of sewing. Our classes are curriculum based with standards and practices adopted universally by all of our instructors. When you sign up for a class, you can be assured that no matter what the class is, the same foundational skills will be emphasized. Each class emphasizes 2-3 skills or techniques to help you develop your sewing. No matter where you are in your sewing journey, we will be there to help you along. Sincerely, Nadyne |
